Hotel housekeeping thesis

Present article explore the current challenges, best practices and emerging trends in hotel housekeeping which if executed well, could lead to higher growth and cost-effective tool for the hotel industry. This paper has reviewed the academics and popular hotel housekeeping trends.

The housekeeping department is located at the back of the house and is a minor revenue generating department but plays an important role in assisting the front office in sale of hotel rooms and earning profit.

Housekeeping standard practices are vital to the hospitality industry because they guide the performance of the room attendants. This study assessed the satisfaction of the guests on housekeeping standard practices of the room attendants. Fifty guests took part in this study. The instruments made up of three parts.
